Thanksgiving weekend we spent in Springfield but had decided to come home a day early so we could get our tree up and have a day of rest before Karsten had to go back to work. It was so nice having Daddy with us for an extended weekend. We haven't had that for quite awhile.
We headed to Lowe's this year to pick out our favorite tree: A Frasier fur
Kellen: "smile Keagan....say cheese Keagan...like this."
Any of these mommy are fine!
Daddy holding up the tree so I could inspect it.

On our way home from getting the tree Kellen asked for the 100th time if he could put the star up. We said yes but that it would be the last thing we did. So he replied "ok mommy, I'm going to try and be very patient." It melted my heart
Keagan really enjoyed putting on the ornaments...and also banging them together....this is the first year he really got to experience this because he was barely one year old last Christmas.
Kellen was very proud of his accomplishment......as you can see all the ornaments are in a straight line on the bottom of the tree.
Finally!!
The reenactment of placing the star atop the tree. Everyone has a turn.
Decorating is done! Yeah!.....now it's time for more baking and shopping.
