Get your hard hats!

These boys LOVE construction....

We had all these leftover hats from Keagan's birthday in January and they love to play with them.

I believe they were digging and piling dirt into the back of the gator and hauling it around.  Basically like a dump truck I guess.

I promised them once we moved to the new house, they could have a dirt/digging pile....and we found one this morning.  Of course I didn't have my camera with me but I'm sure we will have many more days of digging ahead of us!

Chattanooga

In May, the five of us headed to Chattanooga, TN.  We had a wedding to go to and honestly the last time we were there was when Kellen was 2!
Most of Karsten's family still lives around Chattanooga and so we decided we were LONG overdue.  We wanted to see everyone and for our kids to meet his extended family.
We also threw in some neat sights and adventures for the kids as well.

I will say I have been TERRIBLE with keeping my camera on me and even using the poor thing. I really don't have many pictures from the last 2-3 months.  I guess I just have other things on my mind!

The first full day we went to the Aquarium in downtown.  It is a super nice aquarium and of course the boys loved it.

The next day the wedding was in the evening but we shoved in the incline before hand.

I love how there is train tracks painted on the sidewalks to show you the way.

Waiting patiently for the 10 minute ride up the mountain.  You go backwards on the way up

The windows are on top of the tram so you can see out

Lookout Mountain valley

I think this was the boys favorite part....the machine that handled the trams.  It's amazing how strong these engines and cables are!

We had a great time in the short weekend we had.  I was a little apprehensive about the trip - well because I HATE sharing a hotel room will all three kids.  I always worry that they will wake up the little one and I just don't want to deal with it.  BUT as always, it turned out fine and they did absolutely great.  I will try to find more pictures of the shark tank the boys loved at the aquarium.  If you have a chance, downtown Chattanooga is really nice and has so many things for the kids....to many to do in one day!

Kellen's preschool graduation

Well, I'm WAY behind.

Kellen's preschool graduation ceremony was the middle of May.  I can't believe it's been almost 6 weeks of "summer vacation" for us! A lot has happened since then too!

The kids had a singing ceremony for us at Evergreen park in Carbondale.  They had made up one of their own songs as a group project and were SO excited to show us.

Kellen learned so much this year.  I was really impressed with his school teachers.  They were excellent.
He learned spanish, how to write his name in Chinese, counted to way past 100, memorized full name and address and is able to write it down....the list could go on.  It was definitely more than just colors, shapes and the alphabet.

Now that we are moved and somewhat settled I hope to be catching up on my blogging! See you soon!
