Keagan @ 21 months

Last thursday Keagan hit the 21 months mark.  He's getting closer and closer to two and I can't believe it! I didn't manage to get Keagan's pictures last thursday because my memory card mysteriously disappeared.  I still haven't found it and I had to buy a new one.

Yesterday was the kids halloween party at school (more pictures to come) and they have already hit the jackpot in the candy department.  I let Keagan have his first twix bar.

This morning I was in the process of changing Kade's clothes and Keagan wanted to lay on the blanket like Kade was.  I told Keagan to talk to Kade and I guess he wanted to make sure Kade wouldn't talk back?

Oh the piggy banks.....this is your favorite activity right now.  Dumping out the coins and reinserting them.  OVER AND OVER!

You're favorite word this month has been heavy.  If something is hard to move, pick up, push, pull, you name it, it's "heaby!"

A quick visit

A couple of weeks ago Nana and Papa Slater headed to Georgia with cousins Kaylee and Kobe.  They stopped by for a quick visit/break on their way down.  I completely forgot that I had not posted these pictures yet!

We mangaged to get a quick group shot before the little ones went down for naps.

Free at last

Last week I decided to finally let Kade have some wiggle room...meaning we got rid of the swaddling blanket.  I was nervous about doing it because he was sleeping good at night and I was afraid he wouldn't without the swaddler.  BUT he surprised us and has been sleeping better and longer without it!

I finally remembered to sneak in during naps one day to take a picture...and this was how I found him.  His  brothers also put their "lovey" over their faces as well.  This one we are calling Georgie....for George the Giraffe.

Not much going on around here....or at least not a lot of picture taking for some reason. But I came across some more pictures taken recently that I had not blogged.

Keagan loves to be wrapped up in his towel after his bath.  He will walk around the house like this forever if you let him.  Of course I don't let him because every time I do he pees on my floor.
If his towel unwraps he becomes pretty upset.

Last weekend Keagan was enjoying a chocolate iced doughnut.  It is my mission in life to eventually teach this boy some table far not so good.

Harvest time

This past week we traveled home for some quality time on the combines.  Kellen had been asking to ride for quite awhile and I finally got up the nerve to travel alone with the boys.  The boys traveled really well and Kellen told me today he's ready to go back  for "five more weeks".  That is his magic number right now.  Everything lasts for 5 weeks.  So here are some tractor time pics:

Kellen spent a lot of time with Pa.  In fact one day he spent 10 hours on the combine!! 7:30 - 5:30!!  And the next morning he was ready to go at 6am with Pa!! And I'm not exaggerating!

And we can't forget about precious Ruby and Kade.  Shannon came up for the day to visit.  We're pretty sure that Kade and Ruby are about the same size!  I didn't manage to get Kade on the combine.  Things we're crazy and well it's harder to do things with all three now. SO next year Kade - I promise you'll get your turn!

Kade at 12 weeks

Kade officially turned 12 weeks on friday and will be 3 months this coming Saturday.  I can't believe it.  I think time flies faster with each additional child!!

I tried to get him laughing but my camera is just not quick enough.  Here are some pictures to enjoy.....

I love this picture....he looks like he can't even breathe!

Dear Kade.....My how you have changed things for a good way.  You are such a good boy and you love to watch your brothers play. You smile a lot and LOVE to sit up and look around. You are sleeping between 8-10 hours at night.  We're starting to get a bedtime routine down and over the next couple of weeks hopefully get a napping schedule too.  You love to eat and do really well taking a bottle.  You still love being swaddled to get to sleep (I think that's your pacifier!!) You haven't taken a paci  in about 2 months now! You're brothers adore you and so do mommy and daddy! We love you Kade.

All aboard!

No, not on a real choo choo train....but a make believe little boy one.  I'll let most of the pictures speak for themselves.

I love this picture....All 3 of them in a row at 4 years, 20 mo. and 11 weeks.  Of course Kade kept looking at his mama and wouldn't look at the camera.

The train started to fall apart.

These two are starting to play together very well and interact with each other more.  Of course the other day they were fighting and Keagan  actually defended himself quite well - Karsten and I were quite impressed.
