5 months old

Keagan turned 5 months yesterday - he's getting to be quite the big boy - or so he thinks. We've since started some solids (cereal and veggies) and it's going quite well. If we put him in the high chair and his food isn't ready yet he has a meltdown - seriously. He has no patience when it comes to food. He has to be in the kitchen with all of us if we are eating, even if it's not time for him to eat yet.

He has finally become interested in his toes. I love that. I can hardly change his diaper because he's always reaching for his feet.

We broke out the johnny-jump-up. He hasn't quite gotten the hang of it yet. Especially when Kellen comes up to him and spins him and jerks him around. He doesn't quite know what to think.
Keagan is definitely a mama's boy right now. Although Karsten can really get him laughing.
He's trying to turn from his back to his tummy but keeps getting stuck half way through.
He is going to bed between 7 and 7:30 and getting up between 6:15 and 7:15. Naps however are catastrophies most of the time. We've really been trying to work on a routine. Whenever things go well for a few days there is always something that throws a wrench in and wrecks it for a week. Oh well. I told Karsten we need some professional help with his napping!! (Seriously, he slept for a total of like 2 hours during the day the whole weekend.)
Anyway, happy 5 months Keagan!!!!!

  1. Naps were rough w/ Nathan forever. He's finally gotten it down over the past few months.
